Mathematics research is about solving problems and about building new theories. This can for instance be to:

  • Describe how planets interact with each other
  • Develop and improve computer algorithms
  • Solve long standing open mathematical questions (such as the Riemann hypothesis)
  • Improve the mathematical language (e.g. algebra, calculus, geometry)

As can be seen from the examples, mathematics is used in many different research topics such as computer science, astronomy, and physics. Math is furthermore the basis of statistics, which is used in almost every science discipline that exists.

We welcome researchers to submit articles in all fields relating to mathematics.
