Sociology

Sociology research is about understanding the causes and consequences of human social relationships. Researchers do this by using interviews, surveys, observations of live or videotaped interactions, analysis of historical documents and census data, and by carefully planned experiments. Some of the topics studied by sociology researchers are:

  • Romantic relationships and love
  • Crime and punishment
  • Schools and education
  • Urban and rural community
  • Faith and religion
  • Family conflicts
  • Racial and gender identity
  • Poverty and wealth
  • Prejudice and discrimination
  • Population growth and migration
  • War and peace

We welcome researchers to submit articles in all fields relating to sociology research.
